About Ka’Dia
As a Midwest transplant, Ka’Dia Dhatnubia has grown roots in the coastal Georgia over the last decade. After earning a BFA in Writing with a minor in Creative Fiction from Savannah College of Art and Design, she has written for Savannah Magazine and Savannah Morning News. Her poetry and personal essays have been published in Torch Literary Arts, Womanly Magazine, Black Femme Collective, and Wellspring Words.
Her professional career spans from nonprofit work as a creative writing and spoken word program manager to chief copy editor for an online fashion magazine and quality assurance marketing proofreader for a wellness brand.
Beyond work, she is a Black artist who paints, dances, and writes work that explores the intersection between queer pleasure, food, and the cost of suppressing women’s intuition.
